Dr. Liu joined Taikang in 1997. Prior to becoming CEO of Taikang Healthcare,
Dr. Liu served as CEO of Taikang Asset Management and Chief of Strategic
Planning Department. He led Taikang Insurance Group’s strategic development
in healthcare and senior care industry, completed the layout of flagship
communities in fifteen cities nationwide, and closed many strategic investment
deal including Nanjing Xianlin Drum Tower Hospital, Taikang Tongji Hospital,
and Harmonicare Medical.
Dr. Liu earned his Ph.D, master degree, and bachelor degree in Economics from
Wuhan University. He is appointed as member of the National Senior Care
Industrial Committee of Experts by Ministry of Civil Affairs; and supervisor of
Insurance Asset Management Association of China’s Supervision Committe
