Dr. Dong Jiahong

Professor Dong Jiahong, doctor of medicine, professor of Tsinghua University, chief physician and doctoral supervisor. He once worked in Hepatological Surgery Department of Southwest Hospital Affiliated to Third Military Medical University and Chinese PLA General Hospital. He has been as the academic leader for 16 years. In 2014, he was appointed to Tsinghua University and worked as the first executive dean of Beijing Tsinghua Changgeng Hospital.
Professor Dong Jiahong is the world-known expert specialized in hepatological surgery and liver transplantation, who has been devoted to modern theories and technologies related to  hepatological surgery for a long time. Being as one of the leaders in the field of hepatological surgery, he has set up three destination-type medical centers and demonstration bases dedicated for hepatological surgery in China. Meanwhile, he made three excellent teams in complicated liver diseases. By now, they have saved thousands of patients suffering complicated and severe liver diseases in the world.
